Air Sealing Techniques, taught by Keith Williams

Proper and effective air sealing is a must when attempting to improve the energy efficiency, safety, and durability of residential homes. This class will go in-depth on the science behind air sealing, strategies for locating extensive air leakage pathways, and processes for properly and effectively sealing these openings. Students will learn what materials should be installed where, how to properly install these materials, and how to verify their effectiveness.

Meet the Instructor: Keith Williams has over twenty years’ experience providing energy efficiency improvements in existing residential buildings. He specializes in hands-on training on the procedures and techniques necessary for effective air sealing services. Keith is a certified BPI Building Analyst, Envelope Professional, Whole House Air Sealing and Insulation Installer, and is a certified BPI Exam Proctor.
